This room was refurbished under Napoleon III by a Toulouse decorator at the time of the present landlady’s great-great grand father’s wedding. The elegant wallpaper displaying birds and butterflies is a perfect match to the drapes. |

With a Louis XVI style in mind, this room has kept the bucolic and simple charm of yesteryears. The waxed plasterwork of the walls enhances the pastel blue wainscoting and period floor tiles. A secret passage leads into the bathroom. |
